Major Waldron Sportsmen's Association - The host club of the Cowboy Rifle Silhouette Shoots in Barrington, NH. They sponsor many different competitions and classes.
Old Colony Sportsmen's Association - This club in Pembroke, MA runs a series of 200 yard offhand shoots for 20 consecutive Sundays on the NRA 200 yard paper target starting in mid-November. There are different classes for single shot rifles without shooting coats, any rifle with iron sights with shooting coat, any rifle with any sights (telescopes allowed) with shooting coats, over .40 caliber rifles with shooting coats allowed, .22 rifles with any sights with shooting coats allowed. Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record in 30 minutes. $2 a match. No re-entry. You could shoot the single shot for $2, the iron sight for $2, the any sight for $2, the .22 for $2, etc. each week.

American Single Shot Rifle Association - The ASSRA promotes the use, study and preservation of original and reproduction single-shot rifles from the 19th and early 20th centuries as well as rifles of more current design. They sanction both black and smokeless powder events around the world. It includes a subscription to Single Shot Rifle Journal, the Association's color-cover 60-page magazine which is published six times per year.
International Single Shot Association - The International Single Shot Association encourages the shooting of single shot rifles with plain base bullets. They promote Schuetzen and Schuetzenfest shooting using metallic and any sights in the standing and bench positions.
Cast Bullet Association - Provides uniform rules and sanctions in-person and postal matches for firearms shooting cast lead bullets.

Precision Bullet Edger - Many bullets look very good, but the bases are uneven. This is because lead many times shrinks unevenly in the mold as it solidifies. These bullets are flyers. The base is the steering end of the bullet and for optimum accuracy it should be true as it leaves the muzzle. The hand operated Precision Bullet Edger eliminates this problem.
